Welcome to my website. I am Amber, and I’m glad that you want to get to know me better as a dancer, choreographer and artist. Below, you can find more about myself. About
Amber Cools was born in 2002 in Antwerp, Belgium. From a young age, she had an interest in movement and dance, as sitting still was never for her. She started dancing at Arlekino@Ma-Go at the age of six. There, her interest and passion for dance grew and she continued to take lessons intensively, with the dream of going to the ! Kunsthumaniora. In 2015, that dream came true, and she began her training in Contemporary Dance at the ! Kunsthumaniora in Antwerp, graduating in 2021. There, she received her foundational training in both contemporary and classical dance. She continued her studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, where she graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Dance. During this time, she had the opportunity to work on her personal and artistic growth and to do what she loves most.
Over the years, Amber worked with value choreographers such as Katie Vickers, Tuur Marinus, Chen Wei-Lee, Quan Bui Ngoc, Helder Seabra, Min Hee Bervoets, Libby Ward, Filip Van Huffel and Tamara Cubas.
Her interest in passing on her knowledge became more specific in 2022 when she started teaching dance at Alekino@Ma-Go in Antwerp. This experience allowed her to explore and further develop her teaching skills. In 2024, she began teaching Pilates and sport classes at Danserie Leuven and KU Leuven.
